Oral history interview with Don Dalena. [manuscript]. 1973.

This interview covers Mr. Dalena's experience and background with USWA Local 4889 and the Fairless Union News. He describes the politics behind the paper and why it was one of the finest labor newspapers in the country. He discusses the militancy of Local 4889 compared to that of other locals. He also describes changes that have occurred at the Fairless Works: job safety, satisfaction and evaluation, and the view of the worker as a human being and not a machine.
