UW-Milwaukee Field Station records, 1961-[ongoing].

Records, mainly dating from 1961 to 1979, documenting the establishment of field stations for use by the UWM Botany and Zoology Departments. The Arboretum Committee records document the creation of the Botany and Zoology Departments and the selection and purchase of suitable land for class study and research purposes. The activities of the Field Stations Committee are documented through records of the Field Stations Committee chair, director, and manager. In addition, correspondence with the Assistant Chancellor, Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Letters & Science, and the Vice Chancellor concern the activities and proposals of the Field Stations Committee. The Field Stations Bulletins and the annual reports document the activities at the field stations.
