Robert Middleton land warrants, 1790.

The collection consists of miscellaneous fragmentary land grants from the early federal period of Georgia. All three still have the large wax state seals attached. The warrants are all issued to Robert Middleton and retain the plats, each for separate 1000 acre tracts in Washington County and all surveyed in July of 1790. Two tracts are designated as "Indigo land" while all three bear the note "Pine land."
