Six holograph letters to Wm. G. Blackler, whaling agent and apparent owner of the bark "Victor", offering John C. Merrill & Co.'s services in procuring a shipment for the bark. The letters are signed "J.C. Merrill & Co." Also included are part of a sheet on which a summary of each of the letters to Blackler was kept and a sheet detailing cargos, prices, and estimated sailing durations of potential charters for the "Victor."
