Oral history interview with Peter Chiarlone, 1974 October.

In this interview, Chiarlone discusses the first time the General Electric plant was unionized by the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America (UE) Local No. 119, the 1946 and 1960 strikes, Edward Houchins' union activities, communists in the union, and the bitter fight between the UE and IUE.
