[Document] 1718 May / Isaac Newton, Hopton Haynes.

A document signed by Isaac Newton and Hopton Haynes authorizing repayment of a loan to them. On the verso of the page, Newton and Haynes sign a transfer of the money to Francis Hall, who acknowledges receipt on Aug. 15, 1719. The document is signed by various witnesses including a Geo. Baillie, Wm. Clayton, Halifax, and John Aubrey among others.
