The C. Harry and G. Carleton Woodward Letters consist of the photocopied letters written by brothers C. Harry and G. Carleton Woodward. The letters were written at the turn of the century during travels north to the Klondike and during the years the brothers spent in the Yukon Territory and Alaska prospecting for gold and working at various jobs . The Woodward brothers wrote letters home, mainly to their brother Fred, which describe the hardships and adventures they experienced. The letters provide insight into the daily lives of prospectors and others who came north to seek their fortunes during the Klondike and Alaskan gold rushes.
