Dorothy Pattinson Collection, 1898-1940.

The Dorothy Pattinson Collection consists of photographs, real-photo postcards and manuscript materials. Photograph subjects include earthquake damage, floods and ice damage in and around the Fairbanks, Alaska, area, as well as ice carnivals, roadhouses, hospitals and churches. Also included in the collection are images of aircraft and automobiles of the 1920s and 1930s and a sternwheeler. In addition, this collection has photographs of the Klondike and towns of Canada during the 1890s through 1910. The manuscript material consists of a copy of Ursa Major, 1913, a publication of the Ursa Major Society at Fairbanks High School, featuring the first class to graduate from the high school.
