Clippings of newspaper accounts, published mostly in the major St. Paul and Minneapolis dailies, of the September 27, 1941 visit of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor to St. Paul while en route to their ranch in Alberta, Canada. The articles are devoted largely to the couple's arrival by train at Union Depot; a motorcade to the Capitol; and a dinner party in their honor, hosted by Thomas L. and Frances Daniels in their home at Gem Lake at the request of Governor Harold Stassen.
