Voyageurs National Park files, 1963-1979 (bulk 1967-1970).

Subject files relating to the establishment of the Voyageurs National Park in northeastern Minnesota. Kept by Roger S. Williams, the majority date from his service in the late 1960s as Voyageurs National Park Coordinator under Governor Harold LeVander. Williams, though based in the Planning Agency, worked with an interdepartmental committee established by the governor. Although some materials pre- and post-date Williams' time as coordinator, they all relate to the national park.
