Edited typed transcript (2 copies) of a tape recorded interview held by Charles Cleaver and Lucile Kane of the Minnesota Historical Society Manuscripts Department with early Minnesota aviator and aviation enthusiast George Holey. The interview contains information about Holey's aviation career, which began in 1929 with his first instruction at the Universal Aviation School, Minneapolis. Holey talks about barnstorming tours in the 1930s and his service as a Civil Aeronautics Board instructor from 1939 through World War II.

On November 3, 1958 the six airlines filed an agreement with the Civil Aeronautics Board which provided for certain mutual assistance in the event of a strike against one of them. The carriers still operating would make monthly payments of the increased revenues (less added direct expense) to the carrier which was shut down.
