Photocopy and typed transcript of a diary kept by a young man from Osceola, Wis. who worked during the winter of 1867 as a clerk for W.H.C. Folsom's general store at Taylors Falls and who worked during the navigation season as a clerk or business agent for Captain Oscar Knapp on the stern wheeler G.B. Knapp that was engaged in passenger, freight, and towing transportation on the St. Croix, Mississippi, and Minnesota rivers.
