A brief history of the Richfield Methodist Church, 59th and Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The history describes the founding of a Methodist society in Harmony, later known as Richfield, and the "Harmony Mission"; the building of the Methodist Episcopal church in 1869; it's survival of the panic of 1893 when a woman member saved the church making collections via horse and buggy; the annexation of that part of Richfield by Minneapolis; and the growth of the church into the 1940s.
