Studies and background materials mainly relating to the 1984 organization and subsequent reorganizations of the Human Services Department, and its predecessor, the Public Welfare Department. Those materials were compiled by Ronald J. Lang, Director of the Management Services Division, in March 1991. Included are organizational charts (1939-2003), reports to the legislature (1973-1974, 1987), and materials covering various reorganization plans and studies (1975-1985).
