William H. Wood and family papers, 1865-1915.

Correspondence with data on the burning of the Wood home at Sauk Rapids, Minnesota (1865), a trip to the eastern United States and back by way of Kentucky (1866), and on New Athens College, Greensburg, Kentucky, where Wood was president (1870); reminiscences by Wood's wife, Julia A. A. Wood, who writes under the name Minnie Mary Lee, telling of the early settlement of Sauk Rapids, of her husband's election as district attorney for Benton County, and of the establishment of the Sauk Rapids New Era by the Woods. On microfilm are clippings of articles by Minnie Mary Lee on woman suffrage, Catholicism in Minnesota, and Sauk Rapids; her poetry; clippings relating to the Wood and Hineline families; and letters from Dr. A. C. Wood to his sister, Josephine Wood Lowry.
