Photostatic and typed copies of selected items relating to Radisson and to his brother-in-law, Médard Chouart, sieur des Groseilliers, traders whose early explorations led to the founding of the Hudson's Bay Company. They include Radisson's relations of his expeditions in the Great Lakes region and the Northwest; his will; Groseilliers' baptismal record; a contemporary translation of a narrative written by Radisson in French; and assorted letters, contracts, and other papers relating to their explorations.
