A correspondence file giving some information on the Great Northern's financial investment (1927-1929) in an automobile parts manufacturer that went into receivership in 1929. GN had apparently invested in the firm in order to provide economic assistance to the city of St. Cloud.

The Rexford, Mont., station of the Great Northern Railway was established in 1903. It was closed in 1972 when the railroad was rerouted due to the flooding of the area behind the Libby Dam.
