Samuel Taylor journals, 1849-1867 [microform].

Journals (84 pages), largely in the form of retrospective summaries of each year's activities, of Taylor's work as a carpenter and boat builder for the Hudson's Bay Company at the Red River Settlement and elsewhere in Canada, giving information on construction and repair of buildings and boats, logging, cultivation of crops, flour milling, arrivals and departures of furs and supplies, hunting and fishing, and deaths, marriages, births, and other community events.
