Land and financial records, sermons, speeches, correspondence, clippings, and other papers of Kvale, a Lutheran minister, businessman, and U.S. congressman from Minnesota (1923-1929). Most papers (1900-1929) pertain to his investments in Montana, Wisconsin, and North Dakota land companies, and others deal with mining companies. Religious papers include his sermons (undated) and school and ordination records (1890s). There are also a few political clippings and speeches (1920s). Many of the sermons and speeches and some letters are in Norwegian.
