Olderman (b. 1922), a sportswriter and illustrator, joined the Newspaper Enterprise Association in 1952 and retired as an editor in 1987. He was involved in establishment of several professional sports awards and wrote scripts for the ABC radio feature "Chris Schenkel on Sports" in the late 1960s.
