Thanks him for his gift. Has seen Mr. Henderson and except for Jefferson he is the worst actor in the world. England's actors are poor with one obvious exception; glad that he, Garrick, acts no more as he is sure he will never be able to go again to a play ... Johnson says happiness consists in giving others pain.
