Papers of Alfred George Tebault, 1841-1891.

Tebault, a physician in Norfolk and London Bridge, Princess Anne Co., Va., kept case books, ca. 1839-1850, on various fevers. He had a special interest in statistics and compiled tables of age, sex, race, and complications suffered by his patients. The collection also contains a journal, 1881-1888, of medical accounts, several notebooks of law lectures, fragments of 1870s correspondence with the medical society of Virginia, scattered research notes, miscellaneous bills and advertisements and a short biographical sketch, 1891, by L.B. Anderson.
