John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917, to Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy of Brookline, Massachusetts. Theodore C. (Chaikin) Sorensen was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 8, 1928. He attended the University of Nebraska, where he received a B.S. degree in Law in 1949 and an LL.B. in 1951. Mr. Sorensen was admitted to the Nebraska bar in 1951, the New York bar in 1966, the District of Columbia bar in 1971, and to the U.S. Supreme Court.
