Jack L. Adams papers, 1901-1902.

The Jack L. Adams Papers consist of 16 photographs and a letter from Adams to Ivar Skarland. The letter provides a narrative of Adams's experiences as a member of the Trans-Alaska Railroad Company survey. The photographs document the experiences of Adams's party of workers. The project, to construct a railroad from Iliamna Bay to Nome, Alaska, was abandoned after a year.
