Larry E. Baker postcard scrapbooks, circa 1906-1996.

This collection consists of two scrapbooks of postcards. The subjects of these postcards include photographs of classroom buildings, Beaver Stadium, Old Main, the Nittany Lion Shrine, the Nittany Lion Inn, and aerial views of campus. There are also postcards detailing student life and activities, such as the "Push-ball scrap." The collection also contains postcards with photographs of buildings found in State College and Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, such as fraternity houses, churches, and Hotel State College.

The Pennsylvania Humanities Council designated the year 1985 as "The Year of the Pennsylvania Writer." The PHC funded projects in eight locations throughout the Commonwealth to gain appreciation, understanding, and recognition for past and present Pennsylvania writers.
