The collection consists of several typescripts of Mr. Tupper, the Atlantan who is the author of Some Go Up and Old Lady's Shoes. Included here is the typescript of an unpublished novel, The Queen's Fugitive. In addition, there are the short stories and sketches, "Helen Faced Two Ways," "Hotels of Valdosta," "In Case of Accident, Notify --," several drafts of "Queen and Three Ladies," and "Southeastern Fair Association." Three letters from 1937, 1941, and 1950, also pertain to his literary output, one commenting on The Queen's Fugitive. Other material includes his educational record while a student at the University of Georgia and baptismal and other personal data.
