Field notes on Potomack by Benjamin Winslow, 1736-1737 (bulk 1736 Oct. 12-Dec. 14).

This volume of field notes, taken from 1736 October 12 to December 14, contains surveys of the Potomac River by William Mayo and Robert Brooke, surveyors to George II, and by Benjamin Winslow and John Savage, surveyor to Thomas Lord Fairfax. Winslow also includes at the end of the surveys a roster of men assisting the surveys and a list of expenses.
