The papers contain the resolutions, motions, and actions of the American Revolution Bicentennial Commission, 1967-1973, (the ARBA parent) and of its executive committee; a briefing book of basic data about the ARBA; clippings compiled to illustrate media reaction to Bicentennial events, and Congressional acts about the Bicentennial. Also included are documents identifying ARBA themes and priorities, describing international participation, and listing events, listings of important events of the American Revolution and in American history compiled by Sidney Hart, and a scrapbook of projected Bicentennial celebrations at Independence National Historic Park.
