The collection consists of letters between Harry Baylor and his wife, and their children at school, Virginia Baylor at Stuart Hall, and Robert Waring Baylor at Episcopal High School, particularly the latter. There are also letters to R.W. Baylor from girl friends. The collection also contains six volumes, 1830-1900, from the Waring family including farm journals, a guardian's account book, 1846-1851, a horse stud book, a mill and general store ledger, an inventory of an estate sale, and a store account book.
