Two letters from Auslander to Willietta Evans Whichard, professor and Chairman of the English Department at Gulf Park College (Gulfport, Miss.), and two envelopes with notations. The envelopes postmarked, Oct. 3, 1907, addressed to Mr. Z.W. Evans in Tyner, N.C., is embossed with a brief description of Littleton Female College (Littleton, N.C.) by its president, J.M. Rhodes. The two letters (Nov. 13 and 28, 1934) discuss Auslander's southern lecture tour and are for a speech at Gulf Park College. The envelope attached to the letter of Nov. 13, contains unsigned notes about Auslander.
