Papers of the interrelated Thwing and Haven families, compiled by Annie (Haven) Thwing, including genealogical information on the two families and their ancestors. Original materials include letters, legal documents, and photographs of several generations of the two families, including papers of Nathaniel Thwing, in particular related to lands of the Kennebec (Me.) Purchase of which he was a proprietor; James Thwing, Supply Clap Thwing, Samuel Thwing, Annie H. Thwing, Thomas Haven, and Supply Clap. The bulk is family correspondence. There are also estate papers, including wills and inventories, for several members of the family; one vol. of materials primarily related to Walter E. Thwing; and several deeds and plans of lands in Boston.
