Records, 1866-1873, apparently of purchases of railroad stocks for clients. Among the persons mentioned are Azariah Boody (president of the Wabash Railway Company), James R. Jessup, William Kidd, George Henry Mumford, and C.H. Peirce. An earlier volume contains board of directors' minutes, 1857-1860, for the Quincy and Toledo Railroad Company, with many references to the Cleveland and Toledo Railroad Company and to Azariah Boody. Members of the board included John Washington Singleton (pres.), Charles C. Cabell, P.C. Kelly, Augustus C. Marsh, William Alexander Richardson, O.C. Skinner, Sylvester Thayer, and John Wood. The connection between these volumes is unclear. The Quincy and Toledo Railroad consolidated with other lines to form the Toledo, Wabash and Western Railway Company, which dissolved in 1877 and was reborn as the Wabash Railway Company.
