Papers, 1904-1980.

The Dozier family papers span 67 years of active missionary service and contain articles, speeches, sermons, poetry, diaries, personal documentation, such as passports and death forms, and some photographs. The collection contains family letters and correspondence with many prominent Southern Baptist leaders and other missionaries. The collection contains considerable personal correspondence, sermons, and publications in Japanese.

Carver served as pastor to churches in Tennessee and Kentucky before his appointment to professor at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville in 1898.
