"Worst journey in the world" postscript, 1948.

Holograph first draft by Shaw in shorthand, written for Apsley Cherry-Garrard in 1948, who incorporated some of the material into his final edition of the book, published in 1951. Includes typed transcript of same. Transcript provides explanation of Shaw's practice of making one copy on green paper and one copy on yellow, which were used for revisions, corrections, and any additions. Bound in blue leather spine and cloth boards with several blank pages at the end.
