Concert Band, Dance Band, String Quartet, Concert Orchestra, Dance Orchestra, Show Orchestra, String Ensemble and Orchestra of an unknown date and 1955 through 1960. It also includes recordings by the George Washington High School (Denver, Colo.) Concert Band, Concert Orchestra, Show Orchestra, Advanced Band, Jazz Band and Denver Public Schools Jazz Festival of an unknown date and from 1960 through 1972. Roland S. Roberts was the music director for both schools and a compilation, entitled "(Some of) the Best of Rolly Roberts" is also included.

When the Arapahoe School opened in Denver, Colo. 1873, it served school district no. 1 as both high school and grade school. By 1875 there was a separate high school section in the school (with its own principal) called Denver High School. It remained in the Arapahoe Street building until 1881 when relocated to a Stout Street annex. In 1889 there was a separate building at 19th and Stout for the high school.
