Index per breva rerum summarum quae collectae fuere Oxon / per me, D.F. 1652.

Commonplace book kept by Daniel Fleming during his time at Oxford (and perhaps after), recording extracts from his reading. These extracts are indexed according to keywords on pages hand-lettered by Fleming with the 24 letter alphabet. This volume was acquired with Fleming's copy of the 1650 edition of Mathias Prideaux's An easy and compendious introduction for reading all sorts of histories, and appropriately enough contains a large number of extracts from Prideaux's work.

[258] p., bound ; 15 cm.
