ArchivalResource

Berkeley Creek Task Force records, 2005-2006.

The Berkeley Creek Task Force Records consist of files the group compiled during the nearly two years it spent studying and receiving input from the public regarding the City of Berkeley's Creek Ordinance and issues pertaining to open and culverted creeks in the city. After its years of study, the task force ultimately made recommendations and proposed creek ordinance changes to the Berkeley City Council Planning Commission. The bulk of the collection is comprised of files generated or introduced during the meetings of the task force, including minutes, reports, correspondence, and other supporting documentation. The Berkeley Creek Task Force Records were given to the Water Resources Center Archives in December 2006 by Joshua Bradt, Restoration Director of the Urban Creeks Council, who also served on the Berkeley Creek Task Force, and are arranged chronologically by the dates of the group's meetings.
