The Ruth Kathryn Reenstjerna Graduation Scrapbook, 1924-1925, consists of a collection of photographs, handwritten notes and letters, invitations, newspaper clippings, a matriculation card, an alumni card, and an autograph section. The collection appears to be detailing graduation from the School of Nursing and the time period immediately after. The photographs show images of nurses both working and during free time, as well as on the day of graduation. Handwritten pages of the scrapbook document characteristics of the graduating class, including class flower, color, motto, and song. Class officers are listed, and there is a section detailing the class prophecy. Other notes are from friends and family giving congratulations on the graduation. There are several photographs in which classmates are identified by name. They are: Jessie Jervey and Ida Edwins. Newspaper clippings are of public announcements of the graduation, and included is an invitation to Commencement Exercises. There is an autograph section in which friends and family members have left personal notes. Two items are from a different time period than the rest of the collection. There is a newspaper clipping related to the death of Dr. Lawrence P. Thackston, Sr., along with a family photo, 1944, and a much more recent photo, 1980, of three members of the Nursing College Class of 1925, including Ruth Reenstjerna.
