Camp Funston Cantonment Papers, 1917-1919.

Camp Funston, located in Kansas, was a World War I military cantonment established by the United States War Department and funded by private sources. Constructed during the Summer of 1917, it appears to have been operated until 1919. The collection consists of a booklet, Cantonment Life Camp Funston 1918; an operation report of Camp Funston, from Major W. L. Benham to the Construction Division of the Army, October 1918; and a Historical Report of Camp Utilities, Camp Funston, Kansas January 1, 1919.
