Contains correspondence relating to Lloyd Henning's collection of Roycrofters publications. In later years, the letters between Henning and Hubbard Jr., son of Roycrofter's founder, became largely personal. Founded by Elbert Hubbard (1856-1915) in 1895, the Roycroft Shops combined the ideals of William Morris with the techniques of capitalism. Biographical note: Newspaper printer; Lloyd Henning worked for newspapers in Gallup, St. Johns, Flagstaff, Phoenix, Winslow and Holbrook. He married Esther Hess in 1911, organized the First National Bank of Holbrook in 1922, and was an original owner of Navajo-Apache Telephone Company.
