Oral history interview with Eudoro Estrada, 1991.

The interview discusses Eudoro Estrada's life in Mexico, his struggles when he first arrived in the United States, and his efforts to start and maintain what became a successful reforestation business. Estrada also describes his family life and briefly touches upon the discrimination he encountered as a Mexican American businessman in Washington State.

Eudoro Estrada (b. 1933), who started his own reforestation company based in Hoquiam and Tacoma, Washington, was born in Mexico and became a naturalized citizen of the United States. He arrived in the United States in 1963 and worked in a variety of construction, gardening, and landscaping jobs in southern California before settling in Washington State in the early 1970s. In 1974, he established his own reforestation business, which he later named Sylvia Reforestation, Inc. (after his daughter)....
