Peter P. Wright papers, 1837-1877.

This collection contains correspondence and other papers relating to his legal career. It also covers his activities with life insurance, surveying, and western land speculation, and papers relating to the Washingtonian Society, a temperance organization. The papers include letters from two of Wright's brothers concerning experiences in California during the Gold Rush, and from Jay Gould concerning promotion of an atlas and history of Delaware County, N.Y. The papers are arranged chronologically.
