The history of Binion's Horseshoe begins with legendary Las Vegas personality Benny Binion. Born in Texas in 1904, Lester Benjamin "Benny" Binion was already a seasoned gambler when he arrived in Las Vegas in 1946, accompanied by his wife Teddy Jane and their five children.
