Correspondence and literary productions pertaining to Mexican military and government affairs in the 19th century. Correspondence with Manuel María Giménez (G430 Ms) spans the period 1829-1875; that with Francisco de P. Mora (G518 Ms) is from 1865-1866 and concerns plans for a national movement to restore Mexican independence. Letters cited in the published guide as correspondence with Valentín Gómez Farías were all authored by Santa Anna in 1847.
