Autograph letters to Clement Mansfield Ingleby signed and initialled from various correspondents [manuscript], 1844-1875.

Correspondents: R. Kennedy (1-8), J.J. Sylvester (9-52), Lyttelton (53-63), W.J.C. Miller (65), J.M. Wilson (66-68). Letters from Kennedy refer to his translation of Virgil; letters from Sylvester include discussions of Kant's doctrine of space, Shakespearean matters, and mathematical problems; letters from Lyttelton concern Mr. Staunton and chess; the letter from Miller, on letterhead of the Educational times, and letters from Wilson relate to mathematical questions and solutions. One much later letter (dated July 22, 1927), from Hester Margaret Alington to Major Ingleby (64) has been cataloged separately.
