Garfield David Merner (1882-1972) was a businessman and philanthropist. He was vice-president and general manager of William R. Warner & Co. St. Louis Laboratories from 1908-1920. Merner was a founder and vice-president of Merner Lumber Company from 1923-1928 and a member of the board of directors of Garfield, Inc., both in Palo Alto, California.
