Mimeographed memoranda, reports, maps, and photographs, 1958-1965, about roadside beautification activities undertaken by the commission's Waysides and Landscaping Unit in compliance with the President's Highway Beautification program. The photographs are aerial views of scenic rest areas along interstate highways and snapshots of efforts to block unsightly areas such as automobile junk yards. This material was collected in 1965 as a report to the commission.
