Manuscript including drafts of "Postscript on Sir John Moore's letters," which comprises p. 206-216 of De Quincey's published appendix to Wordsworth's essay, "Concerning the relations of Great Britain, Spain and Portugal to each other and the common enemy at this crisis, and specifically as affected by the Convention of Cintra" (first edition, 1809). The manuscript consists of 43 leaves, 37 of which are numbered on both sides. Bound in a later binding of brown morocco.
