Balkarress his memoirs anent the revolutione. [17--?]

Fair copy manuscript of Balcarres' Account of the affairs of Scotland, which circulated widely in manuscript copies until its 1714 publication. This volume likely precedes that publication date and usefull spells out names, which the 1714 edition gives as initials only. Balcarres' account is here followed by Latin elegy by Dr. Archibald Pitcairne on Viscount Dundee, and John Dryden's English translation of the same.
