David Lee Chandler was born October 9, 1938 in New Plymouth, Idaho. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he obtained his degree in History in 1963. He received a Ph.D. in History from Tulane University. David was an Professor of History at Brigham Young University. David Lee Chandler died August 13, 1993 in Salt Lake City.
